In Whiteout Survival, joining an alliance means teaming up for better resource gathering and PVP (Player vs. player). Alliances offer exclusive rewards, protection, and support. When joining or creating an alliance, key factors include language, level, and activity. Benefits include ranks, territorial advantages, and special rewards.
In this Whiteout Survival Alliance guide, I will discuss how you can join and create an alliance. Most Importantly, I will discuss how you can get the most out of joining or creating alliances and make the best decisions to grow fast in Whiteout Survival.
Whiteout Survival Alliance Guide – Join Or Create?
Joining and creating an alliance is very easy. You will be guided with screenshots on how to join and create alliances. But the real game starts when you join or create alliances, and I will share the best tips to help you make the best decisions.
When creating an alliance, you need to make HQ (Headquarters) to know the best location of the HQ and also some valuable related info to HQ. To help you, I have written a guide on Whiteout Survival HQ; you can get all the information you need to make the best decision.
Join Alliance – Guide
Let’s talk about how to join an Alliance. (Don’t forget to Read Tips before joining an alliance)
- Click On alliance Icon
- Click On the Join Alliance tab
- Choose An Alliance That Is Open To Join (First, Read Alliance Joining Tips Below)
As a Beginner in Whiteout Survival, make sure you follow the tips/guide to make the best decision possible.
- Things To Consider Before You Join an Alliance
- Join a Decent Alliance (Don’t Get Attached)
- Reach 1st Million As Fast As Possible.
- Move To Top 3 – 5 Alliance
Things To Consider Before You Join an Alliance:
Make sure the alliance you join has active members and their level is higher (Max is 11) because the higher the number, the higher the research they unlock and the more powerful they are.
Checkout Alliance ranking:
- Click On Your Profile
- Click Leaderboard At The Bottom
- Click Alliance Power
That way, you can see which alliance is decent and which is powerful and active.
Join a Decent Alliance (Don’t Get Attached)
At the beginning of the game, join a decent open alliance and grow with their help. Don’t get attached to the first alliance you join; make sure you move to the more powerful alliance.
Our goal should be to join the top 5 alliances for faster growth and protection. That’s why you don’t get attached to the first alliances you join if you don’t want to stay.
Reach 1st Million As Fast As Possible.
Reaching a power level in millions is very important, and a strong alliance will judge you based on your power level. The more power you have, the better your chances to apply for Top 10 Alliances.
To help you with fast growth, I have written a “beginner guide for Whiteout Survival.” make sure you also read the guide to grow as fast as possible.
Move To Top 3 – 5 Alliance
Our ultimate goal in joining alliances should be reaching the top 5 or 3. If you create an alliance, make sure you get your alliance to the top 10 as soon as possible.
Create Alliance
If you are Furnace level 10 or higher, creating alliances will be free. If you are below Furnace level, you will be charged 400 Gems to create an alliance.
Create an Alliance:
- Click on the Alliance Icon
- Click the Create Alliance tab
- Name your Alliance
- Write Alliance Decree
- Choose Recruitment Settings (Make it Application Required)
- Choose the language Of Your Alliance
Create Or Join Alliance?
This is a question that every Whiteout Survival beginner has in mind.
The answer is simple: If you can,
- Invest time into the Whiteout Survival.
- Have Good Communication Skills
- Manage the alliance’s tasks
- Actively reach out and recruit active members
If you are confident in the above list, you should create an alliance because few people will do that and take your alliance to TOP 10. Otherwise, Join an Alliance and let others manage events and alliances.
Benefits Of Joining And Creating an Alliance (Active and Powerful Alliance)
Joining or creating an alliance is a must in whiteout survival; if you don’t join or create an alliance, you will not grow, and most importantly, you will not enjoy the game.
NOTE: Only the active and strong alliance will maximize the following benefits, so make sure you join the active and strong alliance.
- Fast Growth
- Protection
- Daily Rewards/Alliance Chests
- Alliance Shop And Alliance Token
- Territory Bonus
- Alliance Events
- Bear Trap
Fast Growth
Your growth will be fast when you join an active and powerful alliance. So make sure you join an alliance with active members to grow in power and move to the TOP 5 alliances.
Don’t get attached to the first alliance you join; only talk to members when you are in the Top 5 or a fast-growing alliance. ( Don’t take it the wrong way; it will be difficult to stay loyal when everyone leaves at the beginning of the game)
Protection
You will be protected in a stronger and more active alliance. In case of an attack when you are offline, your fellow members will reinforce you if someone attacks you.
NOTE: If you are in the strong top 10 alliance, you will never get attacked; normally, there is a non-aggression pact between the Top 10 or 5 Alliance. Make sure you join the alliance in the NAP treaty.
If you want to learn more about NAP and its importance check out my guide “NAP In Whiteout Survival“
Daily Rewards/Alliance Chests
Daily rewards like Loot Chests and Alliance gifts are very important for growth.
- Loot chests: When fellow members call a rally and hunt down polar terror, all the members receive a chest with different rewards.
- Alliance Gift: When a member buys a pack, it rewards the alliance with an alliance gift, which includes better rewards than loot chests. If the package is expensive, then you will get better alliance gifts. (Alliance Gifts level are i to vi)
Alliance Shop And Alliance Token
Whenever you help members or contribute to alliance tech, you receive an Alliance token that you can use in Alliance Shop.
If you are part of an active alliance, you will have more tokens, which will help you buy necessary items in alliance shops.
What To Buy In Alliance Shop?
Only spend your Alliance tokens on teleporters, but first on Advanced Teleporter, when it is available, with 70% off.
If you are F2P (Free To Play), then you can also buy Speedups VIP XP but always buy the advanced teleporter first.
Territory Bonus
When you move to alliance territory, then you activate the territory bonus, which increases your:
- Resource gathering speed to up to 20%
- Territory Defender Attack 10%
- Increases Meat, Iron, Wood, and Coal Gathering Speed to 15%
So, make sure you join or create an alliance and move to the territory.
Alliance Events
There are many events where the whole alliance joins forces and tries to achieve a higher ranking for better rewards. If the alliance is active and powerful, it will achieve higher ranking and better rewards.
Bear Trap
Bear Trap is one of the most important events of the alliance, where you damage the bear and try to maximize your personal damage and alliance damage to reach higher rewards.
It offers many resources and Essence stones to grow fast, so make sure you always attend this event.
I have also written a guide on “Whiteout Survival Bear Trap” to increase your damage, resulting in a higher reward.
Alliance Ranking And How To Get Promoted?
Alliance ranking helps organize the alliance and allows different types of alliance tasks to be performed.
R1 and R2 Rank
This rank is given to new members; these members can’t do much to manage the alliance. R2 can message all members, and R1 can’t. Any member of any rank can leave the alliance except R5.
Get Promoted From R1 and R2 To a Higher Rank
To get promoted, you must be consistent with your “Tech Contribution” and ensure you are in the top 10 contributors for a week.
Stay active, say hello, and talk to members in alliance chat. Join events, and make sure to send messages after the event in chat to get noticed by R4 or R5.
If you stay active, you will be promoted by R4 or R5.
R3 Rank
R3 consists of active players and powerful players of the alliance. They have the same permission as R1 and R2 members but can promote or demote R1 and R2.
Get Promoted From R3 to Higher Rank
Getting Promoted from R3 to R4 is not an easy task if you are a very busy person and not very powerful in the game.
You must show loyalty and power level to your alliance, stay active in most events, and, most importantly, have a good relationship with the members.
NOTE/Fact: Power level is everything in the Whiteout Survival. Make sure you are powerful enough to show off, and you will get attention and, most importantly, a higher rank.
R4 Rank
R4 rank is the main rank, where serious/loyal members are; they manage and control the alliance and make plans for events.
In R4 can do everything except:
- Edit Alliance Tag
- Rename
- Disband
- Transfer Leadership
- Build Alliance HQ
Promotion To R5
At the beginning of the game, when members don’t know each other well, they don’t change their R5 status and stay the R5.
But as the alliance grows and players know each other, they start trusting each other and place their R4 as R5. I have also seen R3 as State Presidents, even Super Presidents.
R5 Rank (Leader)
This is the highest rank, and the person who creates the alliance stays R5 until he makes someone else the R5. R5 have all the permissions except leaving the Alliance.
If you are an R5, make sure you are well aware of the state’s situation: keep an eye on the active members or members placing in the top 10 in events.
Reach out to them and convince them to join you.
Only contact if it is not against the state’s rules to invite other alliance members (Many states’ alliances make an agreement not to contact their members to invite them to join the alliance).
Whiteout Survival Alliance Politics
Alliance politics of your state will keep changing and improving. At the beginning of the game, nobody knows each other well, and most conflicts are between the same state alliance.
There is also a NAP agreement that includes the top 10 Alliances, making sure the top 10 alliances don’t attack each other.
But as the state grows and progresses towards state vs state, NAP 10 becomes NP 5.
If you are an R5, make sure you are strong enough to recruit strong and loyal members to avoid conflicts between alliances.
Powerful Alliances Falls And New Rises To Power
Many moments will happen in your state for sure, and that is when a strong alliance crumbles and members leave the alliance one by one. And all of a sudden, a new alliance rises to power using the fall of a powerful alliance.
This mostly happens because of inactivity, and R5 and R4 are not putting effort into the alliance events.
Make sure you keep your alliance active, everything is organized, and members always feel better in alliance, just like your Survivors.
