Whiteout Survival Arena Guide (Rank Higher)

Whiteout Survival Arena

Last Updated on: 11th February 2024, 08:46 am

The Arena lets players compete in PVP battles. Win challenges to earn points and get daily or weekly rewards based on your rank. Points increase when you defeat opponents with equal or higher arena points. Use your five free daily challenges wisely, and buy extra attempts with gems if needed. The Arena Store offers valuable items, with the mythic hero gear chest as a top priority.

I will guide you on how to maximize Arena Points to get higher rewards and Arena tokens. I will also discuss what to buy with these Arena points in Arena Shop. Arena Token is very helpful for heroes’ growth and can be used to buy “Mythic Hero Gear Chest” and many other items in the “Arena Shop.”

Let’s get into this:

Whiteout Survival Arena Guide By an Expert

First, I want you to know why this guide is the best guide you can possibly find on the internet. I have played this game since season 1, and now our state is in its 3rd season. I played both game styles, “Pay To Win” and F2P, for a long time. I am well equipped to guide you about Whiteout Survival Arena.

First: Buy Daily Challenges With Gems

When you get into Arena, make sure you buy daily challenges with gems, and we can get into the challenges without getting interrupted by buying daily challenges.

Fun Fact: In my First season of Arena, I didn’t know we could buy the daily challenges with gems. (I was surprised to see lower-level Heroes ranking above me).

Increase Your Heroes Power Level

The hero’s Power level is very important; the higher the level, the higher the chances of getting the juicy season-end rewards, including beautiful skin.

Hero power level makes a big difference, but if you don’t know how to get higher arena points, then you can still be ranked below someone with a lower power level than you.

Set Up a Defensive Lineup – Win More

This is the most important part: you can surprise other powerful players if they choose you as their challenge. Many of my fellow members messaged me that they lost to me even with a higher power level.

Follow the following Defensive Lineup:

I will talk about the most common heroes, but you will get the idea behind placement.

2 Shield Heroes In Front row – They deserve the most Upgradation

Many players choose 1 shield and 1 Lancer in the first row. It may have worked in the very beginning when you were just starting out. Later in the game, this formation doesn’t work. 2 shield heroes in the front row is a permanent solution.

Molly: Left Corner, Second Line (Maximize Skills)

Molly is very important, and you want it to stay alive for as long as possible because of her snowball attack, which wipes out all the soldiers of 1 hero.

On the left side, enemy attacks are lower, which will allow you to get the most out of Molly’s attacks.

5th Hero: Right Corner, Second Line, OR Middle of Second Line

Place your 5th powerful hero in the right corner in the second line.

BUT Suppose your 5th hero’s special attack affects the surrounding area around the enemy hero and kills its soldiers or freezes them for a moment.

In that case, this hero deserves the upgradation of skills and level, and don’t place your 5th hero on the right corner of the second line; instead, place it in the MIDDLE OF SECOND LINE.

My Defense Lineup In Arena Games

  • Front Row – Sergey, Natalia
  • Left Corner, Second Line – Molly
  • Middle, Second Line – Gina
  • Right, Second Line – Bahiti

Now, Choose Wisely “Player To Challenge”

Now, this is the fun part: when you are on the challenge list tab, challenge the players with higher arena points. Because if you win against them, you get the highest points.

In season 1, you can even win against heroes who are slightly more powerful than your heroes. You don’t have to worry too much about power differences; just challenge players with lower power levels than you but have higher arena points.

Arena Challenge In Season 2, 3 & More – Be Prepared

Be prepared, my fellow survivor, as the game progresses to season 2 and season 3 and more, and you don’t buy the latest heroes, you will start losing against players with a slightly lower power level (100K To 500K Power Difference) than you.

In Seasons 2 and 3 and more, ensure you always have the latest heroes. If you are not buying or upgrading new heroes, you must be careful while challenging. Only challenge players that are almost 500 – 600k lower than you.

Time To Fight In Arena: Formation/Squad Setting

This is the main part of the Arena guide, and I will make sure to make it as simple and straightforward as possible. I have added the screenshots for your help; please take a look.

Front Row

This is very very important and very simple. While placing shield heroes in the front row, make sure the enemy hero that is in front of your shield hero has a higher time to launch a Special Ability than your hero.

For Example,

  • Place Natalia In front of Sergey because Natalia’s special ability activates after 4 seconds and Sergey’s after 5 seconds.
Natalia will stun Sergey and waste his first ability, which will be a plus point on your side to win the challenge.
Identify Scenarios

Use my example: You will be good to go if the enemy has Sergey and a Lancer (Any season Lancer) in the front row.

There are many possible scenarios, and I am teaching you about the most common. You will have to find the rest as you keep playing, but this guide will allow you the upper hand at the beginning.

  • Sometimes, players also have Natalia and Sergey; then, of course, we will place Sergey against Sergey and Natalia against Natalia.
  • Sometimes, we see Sergey with Jeronimo, season 2 or season 3 shield hero; in that case, place Natalia against them to stun them and Molly in the Middle; that way, you will counter their powerful abilities.

I recommend you read my Whiteout Survival Complete Guide to ensure you do everything right to make your heroes powerful, which can bring you higher ranking in Arena Missions.

Where To Spend Arena Points?

There is only 1 thing you should buy with Arena points in Arena Shop, which is the “Custom Mythic Hero Gear Chest.” this is the only item that allows you to get the gear of your choice, and you can only buy it from here.

So don’t waste Arena Points on other items; save them for the “Custom Mythic Hero Gear Chest”.

EXTRA TIP – Check Your Arena Challenge History

This is the tip/trick most bloggers and YouTube don’t mention in their Arena Guide videos or articles.

Check out your Challenge history, and you will see many defeats because strong heroes targeted you because of your higher ranking. If you are lucky, you will see a player who is more powerful than you but lost to you.

If they are powerful, it means they have higher arena points, and you can also punish them for choosing you to challenge. You will have a high chance of getting the highest Arena points.

This is not a very rare situation, and it has happened to me many times; I often ranked #1 and top 10 even if I didn’t have enough Heroes power level.

For Whiteout Survival mercenary prestige, I have written a complete guide; read it to maximize your rewards.
