Most players, especially F2P players, often run out of steel. There are 2 ways to get the steel: one is getting it for free in idle income and exploration battle, and another is getting it from buying packs.
Get Steel For Free
To get the steel for free in whiteout survival:
- Go To Exploration, Collect Idle Income by clicking on the chest
- Complete Intel Exploration Missions
- Fight exploration battles.
With every exploration battle won, you will receive rewards, which will also include steel. Steel’s quantity may vary in exploration battle rewards and Steel idle income. As you upgrade your furnace level, buildings, and research technology, you can increase the quantity of Steel in idle income and rewards.

Increase The Amount Of Steel Exploration Idle income And Battles (Tips, F2P)

Maximize Steel Idle Income
I will guide you on how you can increase the quantity of Steel in idle income. We want to make sure we always collect the Steel Isle Income before 7 hours.
- Make sure you are upgrading buildings and furnace levels, which will increase the amount of Steel you get within 7 hours.
- turning on the notification “Resource Production.”
Click Profile Pic > Settings > Notification > Resource Production. It will notify you when work and exploration idle income is maxed. If the notification is On and you are still not being notified, then turn on the game notification in the mobile setting.
- Make a habit of collecting Steel from idle income while closing the game.
NOTE: As you grow your city and clear exploration stages, you will get more steel in rewards.
