Hey, fellow survivors! If you’re not deep into “Whiteout Survival” yet like I am, you’ve probably no idea how crucial Fire Crystals are. I remember when I first hit level 30 with my city’s Furnace; that’s when the real game began.
At the beginning of the Fire Crystal era, I didn’t give much attention to this and thought I was level 30 (whale), but I was wrong, and soon players started getting to FC1 and FC3, and now FC5. So keep grinding and be active to stay relevant, and don’t take Fire Crystal lightly; learn as much as you can about Fire Crystal.
Fire Crystals are crucial for advancing your city beyond level 30. These rare, powerful resources enable significant upgrades to buildings and troops, transforming your city. As key elements in late-game progression, Fire Crystals offer a competitive edge, enhancing your city’s efficiency and military strength.

Why Fire Crystals are Important in Whiteout Survival
Fire Crystals in “Whiteout Survival” are essential for several reasons:

Fire Crystals are very important for the city’s overall growth and will help you stay relevant and valuable for your alliance in upcoming events like State vs State.
Furnace
Upgrading your Furnace is essential once it reaches level 30. This unlocks the ability to use Fire Crystals, elevating the building through five levels from FC1 to FC5. Each level significantly improves your city’s capabilities, unlocks many troops’ skills, and overall impacts your city’s power.
The Furnace is the most important part of your city, and make sure you are prioritizing it to upgrade using Fire Crystal.

Military Camps (Infantry, Marksman, Lancer)
Beyond level 30, using Fire Crystals to upgrade your Military Camps is a must, and you should upgrade these 3 buildings as soon as possible, right after the Furnace upgrade. This upgrade transforms your troops into the more powerful Fire Crystal troops.
You must be thinking, Do we have to upgrade troops again? The answer is NO! Once you upgrade the building to FC1, all your troops will automatically be upgraded to FC1 Troops instantly, adding a huge power boost to your city.
To maximize the troops’ numbers, you can read the guide “Whiteout Survival Troops” to ensure you are doing everything right to maximize the troop count.
Each level not only enhances their strength but also gives them new skills at FC3 and improved skills at FC5. This upgrade is vital for maintaining a competitive edge in battles, and you can stay useful for your alliance.

Command Center
The Command Center is important for maximizing your power in the game. Upgrading it with Fire Crystals increases rally capacity and troop deployment. This means you can engage in larger battles and deploy more troops, enhancing your offensive capabilities.
It’s a strategic upgrade that can significantly impact your success in player-versus-player (PVP) and player-versus-environment (PVE) aspects.

Infirmary
An often overlooked but critical building is the Infirmary; I learned it the hard way when I got attacked by a whale, and it ate away 60% of my troops, resulting in almost 20 Mil+ power drop.
Don’t make the mistake as I did to ignore it because if the infirmary capacity is full, your troops will be lost. You can recover most of them from the enlistment office, which can take time if you are F2P.
Upgrading it with Fire Crystals enhances its healing speed and capacity. This means your troops recover faster, allowing you to maintain a constant state of readiness. Keeping the Infirmary upgraded is a wise investment, especially in a game where the number of troops can make you win against whales.

How to Get Fire Crystals in Whiteout Survival
You can get Fire Crystal from the following sources, and some sources may offer less Fire Crystal, but it will be enough as you are consistent with those sources and make sure you are actively playing the game and completing tasks to get Fire Crystals.
Daily Missions
Daily tasks are very important for getting some gems (in the first chest), resources, and Mystery Badges, but also for Fire Crystal (in the last chest – 5 Fire Crystal). The amount may not be much, but getting a small amount from different sources, which I will mention below, can make a huge impact.

Intel Missions
This is my favorite part of the game. I like completing intel missions, and by conducting a beast-hunting mission in Intel Missions, you can get 1 Fire crystal by hunting 1 beast. It doesn’t look much, but hunting 4 – 5 beasts every 8 hours can give you 10 – 15 Fire crystals daily. To complete these missions faster, you can read my guide, “Whiteout Survival Intel Mission.”

Crystal Laboratory
In the late game, the game will allow you to make Crystal Laboratory convert your resources (Meat, Wood, Coal, Iron) into Fire Crystals. This method is particularly useful for turning extra resources into something more valuable. The laboratory allows up to five refines daily; in each, you can obtain 1 fire crystal to 5 fire Crystals.
Chances To Gain 1 to 5 Crystal Using Per Refine:
- Chances Of Gaining 1 Fire Crystal: 40%
- Chances Of Gaining 2 Fire Crystal: 30%
- Chances Of Gaining 3 Fire Crystal: 15%
- Chances Of Gaining 4 Fire Crystal: 10%
- Chances Of Gaining 5 Fire Crystal: 5%

Participating in special events is one of the most lucrative ways to acquire Fire Crystals. These events, such as Flame and Fangs, Alliance Mobilization, and Frosty Fortune, often reward players with substantial amounts of Fire Crystals for completing specific missions. Keeping an eye on event schedules and participating actively can reward a good amount of Fire Crystal.
Note: Many events offer Fire Crystal as a reward, so keep an eye on your calendar; this item is very important and rare, so ensure you get it from every event and as much as possible.

State Of Power Shop
The State of Power feature allows players to exchange Sunfire Tokens for Fire Crystals in the State Of Power Shop. This exchange mechanism is particularly useful for players who have accumulated these tokens through various activities, such as completing maximum mission rewards or participating in the SVS Battle Phase. By participating in this event, you can get a handsome amount of Fire Crystals.

Packs To Buy In Whiteout Survival For Fire Crystals
For those willing to invest in microtransactions, purchasing Fire Crystal packs from the in-game Shop offers the most direct and substantial way to acquire them. While this method requires real money, it immediately boosts your Fire Crystal count, enabling faster progression in the game and better chances of becoming a whale and ranking in the top 10 in the state.

When you complete different monument missions, there will be 1 very important mission: to reach furnace level 30 and be in the first 20 chiefs of the state to reach furnace level 30, which will unlock the reward, which includes 60 Fire Crystals.
