Whiteout Survival Best Heroes – (Best 5)

Whiteout Survival Best Heroes

Last Updated on: 14th February 2024, 09:19 am

Heroes are the most important part of Whiteout Survival, and you can’t win or defend if your heroes are weak and not upgraded regularly. Finding the best heroes is tricky, especially when you are a beginner.

When I was a beginner, I was also confused and didn’t know how to decide which heroes were best. But now I know, and I am going to help you find the best Whiteout Survival heroes.

NOTE: There are many heroes, and every new season unlocks new heroes; in each season, you buy new heroes or unlock them by completing events. Each new season hero (SSR) will be more powerful than the previous season’s heroes.

Whiteout Survival Best Heroes – Complete and In-Depth Guide

You will learn about the best heroes, what makes a hero best for Combat and Growth, and tips to make the best decisions in the Whiteout Survival.

5 Heroes – Deserve More

Out of many heroes, you will use only 5 most of the time (Arena and Exploration), and in PVP, you will choose 3 heroes; if you are a PVP person who likes to demolish other players, then I will recommend focusing on 3 heroes and put most of your resources like heroe gears and essence stones should be spent on these 3 heroes.

  • The best strategy is to spend most items like essence stones and low-quality hero gear to upgrade your top 5 heroes’ gears. Buy shards for them from shops and make sure you upgrade these 5 heroes first, and out of these 5 heroes, upgrade Molly first.

To learn more about essence stones and use them effectively you can read my Whiteout Survival Essence Stone Guide.

In Whiteout Survival, some heroes are better than others based on their rarities and type; let’s get into details.

Best Heroes To Fight In Exploration, Arena, and PVP

  • Molly
  • Natalia (Paid/Top Up)
  • Jeronimo (Paid)
  • Gina
  • Sergey
  • Bahiti Or Jasser

Molly

  • Class: Lancer
  • Rarity: SSR
  • Type: Combat Hero
  • Special Ability (Based On Skill Level): “Super Snowball” Damages Soldiers around heroes in exploration (Best Ability)

Molly is one of the best heroes you will unlock for free (you can upgrade fast by buying Molly’s blessing pack). At the beginning of the game, Molly is a hero that you must have in your top 5 heroes. Spend most of the resources on Molly to upgrade it as fast as possible.

Molly’s BSpecial Ability
  • Super Snowball

Super Snowball is the most overpowered skill out of all the top heroes mentioned above. This skill affects the surrounding area of the enemy hero kills its troops and freezes them for 1.5s, which is more than enough to win the exploration battle.

Natalia Or Jeronimo

  • Class: Infantry
  • Rarity: SSR
  • Type: Combat Heroes
  • Natalia’s Special Ability (Based On Skill Level): “Beast Charge” Knocks back enemies and stuns them for 1 second.
  • Jeronimo’s Special Ability (Based On Skill Level): “Combo Slash” launches enemies into the air and damages them with a slash, and each slash deals damage up to 224%.

Both are paid heroes; you will unlock Natalia by buying your first pack in the game then you will have to buy shards to upgrade it. You must buy/Upgrade 1 of them to boost your hero power and win battles in exploration, Arena, and Expeditions. Both are infantry class heroes, which is a very important class in Whiteout Survival.

The infantry class fights on the front, dealing the most damage, so this is very important to make these heroes as powerful as possible. I personally use Natalia.

Natalia’s Special Ability:
  • Beast Charge

I like the special ability of Natalia that not only damages the enemy heroes and troops but stuns them for 1 second. Any ability that stuns enemy players is overpowered, and you must use that hero.

Gina

  • Class: Marksman
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Combat Heroes
  • Gina’s Special Ability (Based On Skill Level): “Incendiary Arrow” Deal 290% direct damage and 98% damage to the nearby soldiers.

Gina is a very important hero because of her expedition skills, like,

  • Endurance Training (Reduce The stamina cost for expedition by 20%)
  • Quick Paced (Increases march speed by 100%)

Gina is probably the first hero that will upgraded to 5 stars due to Gina’s revenge event that offers multiple shards, which you can use to upgrade Gina. I will recommend completing the Gina’s Revenge event to speed up the upgrading of Gina.

TIP: Gina For Auto Hunting, Auto Join, and Exploration (Rally, PVP)
  • Auto Hunting: Using Gina for the Auto Hunting (Ultra Value Monthly Card) is very effective; it reduces the stamina cost, and you can turn it on for a longer period to maximize growth.
  • Auto Join: Auto joining fellow members’ rallies is very important, and you should assign Gina with as many troops as you want to go on rallies because of her speed. It will speed up the process of joining rallies.
  • Exploration: Using Gina for exploration can help reduce “Stamina” costs and complete rallies in less time than other heroes. While attacking other players, Gina’s fast speed comes in handy, combined with the troops’ speedup feature.

Sergey

  • Class: Infantry
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Combat Heroes
  • Sergey’s Special Ability (Based On Skill Level): “Shield Strike” Knocks the target back and deals up to 280% damage.

Sergey is the only SR (epic) infantry class in the game for now. If you are free to play, then Sergey is one of the first infantry heroes that you will upgrade to survive the early game.

I like to upgrade infantry classes first because they hold the enemy heroes longer. Marksman and Lancer Class heroes, especially Molly, can deal so much damage and increase the chances of winning.

Bhiti

  • Class: Marksman
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Combat Hero
  • Bahiti’s Special Ability (Based On Skill Level): “Precise Shot” Deals up to 560% damage.

Bahiti is the game’s handsome hero and one of the first heroes we unlock in the game. Bahiti is also an important hero if you are playing F2P.

If you are willing to buy heroes, then you will replace them with the Zinman (SSR) hero with decent exploration skills. In F2P, this is the best choice and 1 of the top 5 heroes most players use at the beginning of the game.

Bahiti is also a decent choice for Expedition PVP due to its skills to reduce damage taken and deal more damage.

NOTE: Heroes that affect the surrounding area of enemy heroes are best to use in Arena and Exploration. Bahiti doesn’t deal damage to the surrounding area, which is a downside. I will recommend upgrading Jasser (Growth Hero) instead of Bahiti and you will not regret it.

Best Heroes For City’s Growth

Following the hero’s expedition skills deal with city-related tasks, like gathering resources, resource output, building upgrade cost, and lower upgrade time.

  • Zinman (Building Upgrade Speed and Cost)
  • Jasser (Tech Speed)
  • Seo-Yoon (Infirmary Healing Speed)
  • Cloris (Meat Gathering Speed, Meat Output)
  • Eugene (Wood Gathering Speed, Wood Output)
  • Charlie (Coal Gathering Speed, Coal Output)
  • Smith (Iron Gathering Speed, Iron Output)

Zinman (Paid/Events) – Building Upgrades, Costs

  • Class: Marksman
  • Rarity: SSR
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skills (Based On Skill Level): Reduce building upgrade time by up to 15% and building upgrade cost by 15%.

If you are willing to spend money, then at the beginning of the game, Zinman is the best choice for you. In the beginning, we upgrade a lot of buildings, and if Zinman is unlocked and skills are upgraded, you will grow fast with few resources.

Jasser – Tech Research

  • Class: Marksman
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skill (Based On Skill Level): Increases city’s research speed by 15%

I wanted to keep Jasser on the Combat heroes list because of its ability to deal damage to the surrounding area of the enemy. Heroes that can deal damage like this are very useful in Exploration and Arena.

You can focus on Jasser instead of Bahiti, and you will not regret it. Jasser will increase tech research speed and be a valuable hero in Arena and exploration.

Seo-Yoon – Infirmary Healing speed

  • Class: Marksman
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skill (Based On Skill Level): Increases healing speed in Infirmary by 50%

This is a very important hero to have for infirmary healing speed; later in the game, when you fight other states and, most importantly, Castle Battle, you will need that speed to heal more soldiers in less time to avoid the infirmary getting full.

Cloris (Meat Gathering Speed, Meat Output)

  • Class: Marksman
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skill (Based On Skill Level): Increases Meat gathering speed by 25% and meat output by 25% in Hunter’s Hut.

At the beginning of the game, focus on these skills to maximize the growth of the city. Cloris can be a good choice at the beginning of the game to fight in the arena and exploration due to its special ability to deal damage to the surrounding area of the target hero.

NOTE: Prioritize These four heroes, Cloris, Eugene, Charlie, and Smith, in the following order:

  1. Cloris
  2. Eugene
  3. Charlie
  4. Smith

Why?: You will need the resources to upgrade furniture in the same order: Meat, Wood, Coal, and Iron.

Eugene (Wood Gathering Speed, Wood Output)

  • Class: Infantry
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skill (Based On Skill Level): Increases Wood gathering speed by 25% and Wood output by 25% in Sawmill.

Upgrade Eugene’s skills related to growth after Cloris and maximize the wood production; you will need a lot of it.

Charlie (Coal Gathering Speed, Coal Output)

  • Class: Lancer
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skill (Based On Skill Level): Increases Coal gathering speed by 25% and Coal output by 25% in Sawmill.

Coal and Iron are both very important and most of the time, we run out of them. So make sure you keep a close eye and gather them in the wilderness from time to time, even when you don’t need them.

Smith (Iron Gathering Speed, Iron Output)

  • Class: Infantry
  • Rarity: SR (Epic)
  • Type: Growth Hero
  • Growth Skill (Based On Skill Level): Increases Iron gathering speed by 25% and Iront output by 25% in Hunter’s Hut.

These 4 heroes deal with the 4 most important resources, Meat, Coal, Wood, and Iron, and should be prioritized after the main heroes to get the most out of the city.
